This Privacy Policy explains how Simplicity Vinyl handles information collected through its email-signup form and contact address. The signup form currently collects addresses for future email updates. Newsletter delivery is not yet part of this launch setup.
Email signup
The signup invitation is: “Join the Simplicity Vinyl list for material guides, project ideas and practical vinyl troubleshooting.” To join, you provide an email address and select a checkbox confirming: “I agree to receive email updates from Simplicity Vinyl.”
The signup module stores your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path, the consent wording you accepted and the collection status in the site’s WordPress database. The stored source path does not include query strings or page fragments.
We collect this information to prepare for future Simplicity Vinyl updates. Newsletter delivery, confirmation messages and unsubscribe features require separate future configuration.
Contact messages
You can contact Simplicity Vinyl at contact@simplicity-vinyl.com. A message sent to this address includes your sender address, the message itself and any attachments you choose to provide. This information is used to review and handle your request.
Access to signup records
Authorized WordPress administrators can view, export and remove newsletter signup records. WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools also include these newsletter records.
Signup records remain in the database until an authorized administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed. The module also creates temporary anti-spam rate records using hashed network identifiers, which are subject to periodic cleanup. This does not mean that the website’s entire hosting system never records network addresses; hosting and server practices are separate.
Your choices
To ask whether we hold a signup record for you, request a copy or request its removal, email contact@simplicity-vinyl.com. Please include the email address you used to sign up so we can identify the correct record.
